We'd love for you to adopt a dog from us. You will find the information needed to start the adoption process below.

How to adopt a Sav-a-Bull dog
The first step is to fill out a Sav-a-Bull dog adoption application.

A few facts about all Sav-a-Bull dogs
Our dogs are located in Manhattan. We do not have a shelter, so our dogs live with capable fosters or split their time between trusted day care and vet facilities where they receive all of the socialization, care, love and attention they need. Every dog is
up-to-date on shots, is microchipped and is spayed or neutered.

What happens after I apply?
After we look over your application, we will talk with you about the dog you would like to adopt, and tell you more about his or her unique characteristics.
We will also schedule a time for you to meet the Sav-a-Bull dog you are interested in.

What does the remainder of the Sav-a-Bull dog adoption process consist of?
After the meet and greet, we will call the references listed in your application and schedule a home check. A home check is done by a representative for Sav-a-Bull; it helps ensure that the dog you are adopting is the right fit for you and viceversa. We will then ask you to sign a Sav-a-Bull dog adoption agreement. Approximately 2 weeks after your adoption a representative for Sav-a-Bull will do a final home check to ensure it is a perfect match for both you and your new best friend.
