Training provides a dog the tools he needs to succeed.

Training can be the key to a happy, healthy bond between families and their dog. It is also an excellent source of mental stimulation for any dog.  

Because pit bull type dogs tend to form very strong bonds with their people, their favorite reward for good behavior is your affection and praise. 

On occasion, they may test the limits a bit, It is perfectly normal for a dog to do this. Just be consistent with your commands (sit, stay, down, wait, et al.) during these times and they will be right back on track.
